Her role at the firm
Carolyn Munn collects the records our legal assistants and attorneys need to start working on a client’s case. “I love looking for new and efficient ways to gather the information and records that are needed to work the cases that come to us,” she says. When she answers the phone, she wants clients to hear “a smile in my voice” so they feel welcome and at ease.
Background
- Nearly two decades in finance, including as a senior implementation coordinator at Fidelity Investments and other 401(k) departments
- Came out of retirement to join the firm a few days a week at the suggestion of her daughter, Angela, who has worked at the firm for many years. “I jumped at the chance,” Carolyn says.

Outside the office
Carolyn says she works to support her travel habit. She scrapbooks her trips and loves lighthouses, which take her to New England and the Pacific Northwest. She supports KSDS Assistance Dogs, Inc., which trains Labrador retrievers to help people with special needs, and she plays the accordion.
